I actually ignored it the first time I read it, but in a minute I returned to it, simply because I liked it a lot. Astonishing how many people write, for example, two pointless, dull lines, submit it, and it gets to the front page in a snap...While really good works, like this one, are left behind the crowd of crap that some people call "literature" or "poetry". Pisses me off sometimes. Sorry for the long comment :D. I really like the way you put so many details in such a moment of time, really gets me. It's my stlye. The repetition of the title inside the poem itself is also a great technic. Simply hats off, mate. The soldier-and-his-love theme is awesome, I myself am thinking of trying it a big poem with a story.

Sometimes it doesn't take a whole page for the artist to express what they need to. It's in the depth of words not amount.
